For the fans of Tom Fontana's "Borgia" this is a thread to keep us updated on Season 2 (available January 2013):

-The titles for the first 5 episodes of the new season are: The Time of Sweet Desires, Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Pax Vobiscum, Ascension.

-The entire main cast returns and additional characters that are supposed to recur this season are several Borgia relatives (such as Angela Borgia and Juan Lanzol, while Rodrigo's other daughter by an unknown mother, Isabella Matuzzi, will be played by Michelle Tate), Giulia and Alessandro's mother, Giovanna Farnese (played by Babsie Steger) and Alfonso di Calabria (played by Alejandro Albarracin). Other notable historical characters that are supposed to appear: Michelangelo Buonarotti (played by Danny Szam), Niccolo Machiavelli (Thibaut Evrard), Piero Soderini (played by veteran actor James Faulkner), King Federico d' Aragona (Richard McCabe) and Girolamo Savonarola (played by Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey alum Iain Glen).

-Dearbhla Walsh, Christoph Schrewe and Metin Huseyin all return to direct episodes, while Thomas Vincent is a new addition to the director's chair.

-Season 2 is shot in Prague AND Italy, a portion of the shooting taking place around Rome and Tuscany.

If you have any questions, don't be afraid to submit them and I'll try to find the answer.

Sending out an SOS especially to our Italian members regarding the "Other" Borgia show. Wiki member Urquheart has kindly given me the following information.

The show will be previewed early in Italy by Sky Cinema 1, July 10th, 21.10 pm.

If anyone watches the show and if possible or convenient could they please come onto the site and write their impressions or record the episodes and put them online so that we are able to check out the competition. It would be a massive help if anyone is able.

Many thanks x
